Pack Expo Las Vegas is officially in the books.
America’s largest packaging show of the year pulled in a record 31,000 attendees (up 15% from 2017) and 2,000 suppliers over a three day period. The exhibit space was stretched across 3 buildings and 900,000 square feet of exhibit space at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Product Labels with InkJet Technology
One of the emerging packaging trends we witnessed was the imprinting of product labels using HP inkjet technology. In this example, the customer used an unwind / rewind label transport system to add cannabis product information on a blank section of pre-printed label stock. The print quality is adjustable up to 600 dpi, and uses either black or spot color ink. Print speeds range up to 90 meters per minute at 360 dpi.
